Arena View/Clear View Backboard Design
Our Clear View Backboard is designed to eliminate the metal backboard frame distractions in the shooting square area. The gym-like rebounding play of the backboard comes from our square-tube steel frame that is welded together creating a rigid surface for the tempered glass.
1/2″ Thick Tempered Glass
Ryval glass backboards will not fog, cloud, or scratch like acrylic backboards. Our 1/2” tempered glass backboards performs similar to gym style backboards in rebounding & game play.
Innovative Rim Mounting
While inferior products have a high risk of breaking your tempered backboard glass, ours eliminate that risk. Our safer and stronger mounting attaches the rim directly to the lower main structure of the backboard, giving you assurance that your basketball hoop will last even through years of serious play.
Dual-Spring, Heavy-Duty Breakaway Flex Rim
Best in its class, and far superior to box store rims, our rim can hang with the pros. Meeting both NCAA and NFSHSA specifications, the rim’s two calibrated heavy springs are tuned for regulation competitive play and allow the rim to flex under pressure.
The rim will instantly spring back to the horizontal playing position when the player releases force on the rim. The rim is secured with a heavy gauge 5mm mounting plate.
No Ties to Catch Your Fingers
Similar to NBA rims, the net is designed for preventing finger injury when dunking. It uses a nearly unseeable 16mm diameter Stainless Steel wire-thru continuous tube to safely attach the nylon net so that there is nothing for players to catch their fingers on.
Thick 7 Gauge Steel
The Coach Series pole is 7-gauge (3/16”) and rust protected with hot-dipped galvanized coating, then powder coated to support years of competitive play.
4 Welded Support Gussets
Where inferior brands use flimsy support, the Ryval Phenom Series 11-gauge pole is welded to the base plate with 4 thick gussets for long-lasting strength & stability. Gussets help to minimize vibration, pole shake.

Easy Enough for Small Children
Turn the handle right to go up, left to go down. That’s it! The FX Lift Assist Cylinders make it easy enough that even children will be able to adjust the height as they need to.
Enclosed Actuator
A fully enclosed actuator mechanism keeps children fingers safe while adjusting the height.
